What is RSS?
Really Simple Syndication (RSS) is a Web content syndication format. RSS is a popular means of sharing content (such as news headlines) without requiring you to constantly visit a Web site to see what's new. RSS feeds contain headlines and hyperlinks to longer articles or Web pages.
How do I receive RSS feeds?
"RSS reader" or "news reader" software is required to receive RSS feeds. You can search the Internet for either "RSS reader" or "news reader" software or use one of the products listed on our Free Downloads page under "RSS Content (for news feeds)." Also, many recent Web browsers have built-in functionality to subscribe to RSS feeds.
How do I receive the RSS feed from the California Department of Education (CDE)?
Follow your "RSS reader" software instructions for subscribing to (or adding) a feed. To receive the RSS feed from the CDE, select CDE's RSS Feed .
